Hi Everyone!

So far it's been a very busy year for me and I hope it's been the same for you. I did another session with Gary Mc Vay doing 4 songs I wrote and 3 others.

I will put the new songs on the music side so give a listen and feel free to comment.  The one I'm most anxious about is "Stand Up, Stand Up!"  It's a Patriotic song for our young and can be for the older folks too, so give a listen and let me know what you think. I hope it becomes the song of the year.  I can dream .  But I feel this year is sooo critical, that we take our country back!  We can't take 4 more years or we won't recognize our beloved USA. I'm going to try and get this out to as many Radio Stations as I can.  If any of you have any suggestions that could help me, please let me know. I'm doing all this on my own, so I do have to be frugal.

I will be attending the convention in Pigeon Forge April 26-28. Wish I could stay for the whole thing, but have to get back to work so I can do other things as well.  I really hope to see a lot of you there. I will probably do a short session while I'm there as well as Gary lives there and it cuts down my travel time.

I know this is going to be a good year.!  God is on our side!  We all have a lot of work to do to help get this Great Country back on track.  It begins with all of us doing all we can to spread God's word through our Ministries and Songs.  People need hope and We all have a duty to take that message throughout this Nation with our many talents. Some write songs and some sing those songs to warm a lot of hurting hearts and bring them hope. Others have the gift of ministry and deliver powerful messages. We all play a part in God's plan. I'm proud to be associated with so many wonderful and talented Gospel Entertainers. Keep the faith ! I hope to see some of you in Pigeon Forge in April-May.

I hope this year brings all of you safe travel and much success.

Hi Everyone!

Next week Nov. 18 & 19 the annual USAGEM Convention being held at the famed Texas Troubadour Theatre. Hope to see you all there. It's going to be a great time with a lot of super entertainment.  Hope you all come out and support your favorite Artists.

I'll be kicking off Christmas with two songs from my new Christmas CD "Let's Say Merry Christmas". This CD will be available on CDBaby.com as of Nov 15th along with my other Christmas CD "Chritmas Country Style" which is already there.  Hope you check it out and pick up some  great Christmas Tunes.

Then I will be in Two Parades as Mrs. Claus followed by some personal appearances In our Business Community. Then go crazy in the Retail Industry. And then it's back to Nashville to do a Christmas Showcase on Dec 18th at the Nashville Palace. I'm going to try and put a picture of the Santa I'll be seen with, so check out the photos.  He's a very dear Friend and has been our Santa at my Daughter's Salon for years. He's also a Pastor and he tells the Children the real story of Christmas. I love him and his wife , They're sooo special.

I hope I will have the opportunity to visit with all of you while I'm there. I'll have to pop in and out as it is a busy time for me as it is with all of you I'm sure. If I miss some of you, I hope you have a Christ filled Christmas with Family and Friends filled with lots of Love and Joy. And may you have a very Prosperous 2012.

Hi everyone!  It's getting that time of year again to gear up for the festivities.  I simply love this time of year.  Lots to do, people to see.

I've finished my Christmas CD and will have it back soon. It's called "Let's Say Merry Christmas". I will post it, when I get it, on CDBaby along with my others already there. You can hear samples of each song at...... cdbaby.com/cd/martymerchant1  or 2 or 3  for now.

#1 is my first Christmas CD  "Christmas Country Style" I wrote most of the songs.  #2 is "Put Angels All Around You"   and # 3 is "Devil Get Out Of Here" You just have to change the number behind my name for each CD like the example above.

My domain will be martymerchant.com, when I get the proper downloads for my computer.  It's a work in progress so keep checking.

Hope to see all of you at the USAGEM Awards show. Congratulations to All the nominees, they've certainly earned it.
