Thank you all for the Contemporary Christian nomination. So sorry our family had to miss the gathering Monday night. We were out of town. I hear we missed some great ministry, music, and food. I hope to see you all soon.
Blessings,
Tammy

The Kingdom of God is like a man who scatters seed upon the ground. And then continues sleeping and rising night and day while the seed sprouts and grows and increases - he knows not how." Mark 4:26,27
"We have to farm faith." Creflo Dollar
Sometimes we can be so impatient. We want the right results right now. But Mark chapter 24 tells us that God doesn't work that way. I love the seed principle, and the mystery of how God brings things together at just the right time. Our job is to scatter the seeds, and keep ourselves watered and rooted in His Word which farms our faith. We can rest in the fact that the seed sprouts and grows ready for harvest in God's perfect time.
I have seen this in my children. Our oldest daughter, Allison, is in her third year of college. It's taken years of hard work and dedication to get to this point. If she continues doing her part, I believe God will bring the opportunities at just the right time, and she will see some fruitful results. You might say she's had a favorable season, and we are predicting a good crop.
Our youngest daughter, Morgan, has had challenges from the time she was small. She is 14 years old now and at times she still struggles to communicate her basic needs. All this time I have known that hidden within Morgan are some very capable seeds. I continue doing what God has given me to do, and I fully trust the results to Him. I trust in that "mystery of the kingdom of God" Mark 4:11, just as a farmer must trust what is going on beneath the soil.
"The mustard seed is the smallest of all seeds on the earth. Yet after it is sown, it grows up and becomes the greatest of all garden herbs and puts out large branches, so that the birds of the air are able to make nests and dwell in its shade." Mark 4:32, 33
