A pre night for the gathering of the saints of God, met @ Minister Lavonne Ritzema's home for the most wonderful meal with greetings, testominies, and memories of last year's event. We all united in one band of Christian love and sang together. I enjoyed it all, including the guitar picking to one of my songs from my 2007 project "Oh Happy Day" by bro. Jay Shupe and Bro. Rene Jones along with thier wives Sandy Kay and Edie. We shared gospel tunes and harmony together just like God would have it and I wouls not have wanted it any other way. Such great hosting by Lavonne, her sisters and friends. This was also a primary time for praying together with brothers and sisters who traveled from miles around to meet in Whites Creek Tenn. on September 30, 2011. To God be the Glory !!!!!!!!!!!!          

I attended the Gospel Showcase @ BB Kings in downtown Nashville, TN. It  was fairly nice crowd, I sang so much during morning worship, my voice did not get heard as much. I sang 2 songs from my new cd. I thank God for the opportunity. I will go back, once invited.

On Friday September 2, 2011, i attended and sang @ both 7 o'clock and 9:30 Shows with other artist Mr. Charles Miller, singing a tribute to " Miss Puddin". I sang an olde called "I Shall Wear A Golden Crown," accompanied by the band. I was grateful to be in the presence of Malinda Doolittle who was a former participant on American Idol. She is a very pleasant person to be around. She actually told on the rehearsal the night before, September 1, 2011 to sing the song kind of bad to make the crowd laugh, instead when I spoke with my Godmother Katie, she told me she recvd numerous calls about an outstanding job and that I got a standing ovation of the song. WOW!!!!
